TEXT MESSAGING (SMS)
Feature Description
- Send Text Messages (SMS) to a single recipients phone number or to queue "group" of recipients.
"How To" Tutorial - Step-by-Step:
Text Messaging (SMS) - Single Recipient
- click Message button
- click Text Message option
- DEXDash Task : SMS panel appears
- complete SMS panel setup
- select a SMS Gateway
- Boom SMS, Bulk SMS, Comapi, Plivo or Twilio
- Future update to provide support for: Telesign, TextLocal
- select a SMS Gateway
- enter Account SID, Auth Token
- click [ 1. Connect ] button
- Status: should change to Connected (Green)
- click [ 1. Connect ] button
- enter Telephone Number: - this is recipients phone number
- enter From: - this is senders phone number
- enter Message: - this is the text you want to send to the recipient
- click [ Send ] button to transmit message
Message Queue - Multiple Recipients
- click Message button
- click Message Queue option
- DEXDash Task : SMS Queue panel appears
- complete SMS panel setup
- select a SMS Gateway
- Boom SMS, Bulk SMS, Comapi, Plivo or Twilio
- Future update to provide support for: Telesign, TextLocal
- select a SMS Gateway
- enter Account SID, Auth Token
- click [ 1. Connect ] button
- Status: should change to Connected (Green)
- click [ 1. Connect ] button
- click [ Enter Queue Data ]
- Telephone Number: - this is recipients phone number
- enter From: - this is senders phone number
- Repeat this step for all recipients of the message
- enter Message: - this is the text you want to send to the recipients
- click [ Send ] button to transmit message
