IMPORT

The Import feature provides the function to add "Import" additional links to DEX by importing an HTML Document "index" file.
- The index file being imported must have the extension *.htm* - Example: Safari Bookmarks.html
This file can be one that has been emailed to a user by a friend or associate and contains links "URLs" to be added to the data repository.
Standard desktop browsers like Edge, Chrome, Firefox and others provide the feature to "Export" Bookmarks and Favorites.
- This file can be imported into DEX with this feature.

Click the Import function
Choose Bookmark File panel appears
Locate the file to be imported and highlight it so it appears in the "File name:" field. Example: SafariBookmarks.html
Click the Open button
The Import to DEX panel will appear
In the "Content Type Imported" group box click the URL Radio button so it is enabled.
1. This identifies the type of content being Imported into DEX
Click the Import button located in the top left corner of the panel.
The Success notification window will appear and indicate the ## of Bookmarks Imported and the location they were imported from.
1. Example: "12 Bookmarks Imported from C:\Users\Mark\Documents\myZure\Safari Bookmarks.html"
Click the OK button to acknowledge the import completed
The panel will clear and the DashList View will appear.
The "Imported" Bookmarks will appear in the DashList View after DEX has refreshed the contents of the list.
