Dash ACTIONS

Refresh

1. click Dash Actions
2. click Refresh
3. DashList and Previewer panes will redisplay their contents

Default Layout

1. click Dash Actions
2. click Default Layout
3. The content header and data list will refresh in the original default settings and appearance

Filter

1. click Dash Actions
2. click Filter - a check mark image appears show it is active
   • A Teal colored line will appear below the heading columns

• click a Column Header - Example: DESCRIPTION
  • Click under the column you want to filter on - Example: DESCRIPTION
  • Enter a value in the Filter Field that appears below the column
    • Example: "Chinese" -  (this value must appear somewhen in the list or no records will be returned to the list)
• click the Tab key
• The Filter will return ONLY those records in the list that have the value matched in the DESCRIPTION field - example value "Chinese"
• "Turn Off" Filter - click Dash Actions, click Filter

Search

1. click Dash Actions
2. click Search
3. click a Column Header - Example: DESCRIPTION

• An Orange colored line will appear the heading columns
• Click under the column you want to search on - Example: DESCRIPTION
• Enter a value in the Search Field that appears below the column
• Example: "The" (this value must appear somewhen in the list or no records will be returned to the list)
• The Search will Highlight in Yellow ONLY those records in the list that have the value matched in the DESCRIPTION field - "The"
• "Turn Off" Search - click Dash Actions, click Search

Group

1. click Dash Actions
2. click Group
3. The group Pivot Bar will appear above the column headings
4. Use the mouse pointer Select a row column header and drag it to the group Pivot Bar and release the mouse button. Example: GROUP column header
5. The Column value will appear in the group Pivot Bar: Example [Group]
6. Select a 2nd column with the mouse pointer and drag and position it after the first value. Use CATEGORY
7. Now [Group] & [Category] are on the Pivot Bar
8. This will group the contents of the DashList first in [Group] order and then within by [Category] 
9. "Turn Off" Group - click Dash Actions, click Group

Column Pop-out

1. click Columns pop-out list
2. Columns List Appears - shows grouping of Pivot for list 
3. Close Columns list - click Pin indicator
